STUTTER-GO, TOUCHDOWN: Denzel Mims runs a stutter-go. He stems at the CB off of the snap and the CB opens his hips to run deep. Mims times the stutter well in the blind spot of the CB, who flips his hips to play through Mims, but Mims shows power to work through the contact. The QB puts the ball in a good spot and Mims gets the TD. (via Blewett’s Blitz)
BODY CONTROL, ACROBATIC ABILITY, HANDS: Denzel Mims shows off his ability to acrobatically snatch the ball out of the air from a wide catch radius. He contorts back to this pass and snags it with his fingertips, pulling it into his chest and getting a knee down in-bounds. Incredible grip and core strength.
WILLINGNESS TO BLOCK, STRENGTH, FINISH: Denzel Mims closes ground on the corner and establishes contact, keeping his feet churning non-stop and driving his man deep into the bench area.
