PATIENCE, DEEP ACCURACY: Morgan takes the snap, reads middle, left and then right but sees nothing open. Morgan continues to drift back in the pocket as he waits for a WR to uncover. Morgan eventually sees his boundary WR uncover deep down the field. Morgan shows some good mechanics to launch the ball. The ball is on a rope, tight spiral with pinpoint accuracy. GOOD READ, BUT POOR FOOTWORK/THROW UNDER PRESSURE: Morgan takes the snap from the shotgun. He reads the middle of the field safety, then his eyes go to the 9-route from his boundary wideout. Morgan’s feet freeze at the top of his drop. I’m OK with Morgan’s decision to throw the 9 as he held the middle of the field safety, but it ends up intercepted because of the hit. Morgan never feels the pressure. Along with the frozen feet, this throw was all arm. (via Blewett’s Blitz)
