The live clock starts off. Planning is unhurried, but football actions still use time. Enable the live clock for a harder challenge and a bonus to positive Coach Points.
Great calls improve your chances. Talent, execution and the opponent still matter.

Fixed at kickoff for Modern and Classic full games. Mini-games have their own assigned level. Novice gives you more room to learn; Expert demands sharper decisions; Legend is an extreme challenge.
Off by default: plan at your pace. Football actions still use game time. On: decisions run against the countdown. Start with it on and keep it on for the bonus; enabling it later does not qualify. Pausing at the line removes the bonus for that snap, while keeping normal decision points.
The visitor calls the toss. First and second-half choices are tracked separately; Kick and Defer are not the same choice.
