Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson fills everybody in on his feelings about losing Patrick Onwuasor to the New York Jets.
New York Jets inside linebackers coach Frank Bush will have a full house this summer if nothing changes.
C.J. Mosley, Avery Williamson, Neville Hewitt, Blake Cashman, James Burgess and now the newly-signed Patrick Onwuasor make a total of six players who play the second-level linebacker spot for Gregg Williams’s defense. Some folks believe Onwuasor’s signing means the end of Williamson’s Jets run, but that remains to be seen.
Either way, fans are wondering just how talented of a player this new guy might be. On Thursday, his former teammate, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, provided a positive answer.
Hell ya😩🤦🏾♂️

“Hell yeah,” with crying and (what I think is) “hand in the face” emojis, Jackson tweet replied to a fan wondering what the talent level is of the Jets new linebacker.
The reigning NFL MVP was Onwuasor’s teammate each of the last two seasons in Baltimore. Interestingly, Onwuasor was pegged to replace the departing Mosley as the defense’s top inside linebacker, leader.
It didn’t quite go down that way.
Though Onwuasor started six games a season ago and 14 the year prior, he fell out of favor with Ravens coaches just a tad and started to see his playing time decrease. Now, he makes the same move his former teammate, Mosely, did by making his way to New Jersey.
It’ll be interesting to see how Joe Douglas handles his linebacker situation moving forward this offseason.
