New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold shows off more offseason work while working with quarterback guru Jordan Palmer.
You already know where Sam Darnold is this offseason. More importantly, you already know who he’s with.
The answer, of course, is quarterback guru Jordan Palmer, whom Darnold has long trained with for years. On Tuesday, more Darnold offseason work made it to the public courtesy of Instagram account @devinquinning.

Darnold, 23, is taped while throwing four different balls to receivers, dealing in both play-action drops and eventual throw-on-the-run abilities. The New York Jets young quarterback is heading into the third season of his professional career.
A year ago, Darnold played 13 games and put up decent numbers. He finished with 3,024 yards and 19 touchdowns to 13 interceptions on 61.9 completion percentage.
While Darnold represents a big factor in the Jets’ 2020 success, it’s the offensive line that first has to do its job for the young kid to even have a shot. Anybody willing to judge Darnold on two years behind (arguably) the league’s worst offensive line is simply the most impatient individual in the world.
By acquiring Mekhi Becton, Connor McGovern, Greg Van Roten, George Fant and Josh Andrews, general manager Joe Douglas did his job in ensuring plenty of competition exists at offensive line this summer. Douglas understands the importance of competition up front, as he is a former big heavy himself.
As long as the O-line does its job, there will be no excuses for head coach Adam Gase and the organization’s hope for the future, Sam Darnold.
