The New York Jets’ Week 9 inactives for Monday Night Football include Sam Darnold, Quinnen Williams and rookie Cameron Clark.
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—The New York Jets‘ Week 9 inactives don’t include too many surprises.

Tight end Trevon Wesco‘s ankle injury sent him to the IR prior to the game. This made way for tight end Ross Travis to fill-in as one of the Jets’ two promoted practice squad players for the week.
Jets moves ahead of MNF:
-Activated CB Bryce Hall
-Signed QB Mike White
-Elevated TE Ross Travis and DL
Tanzel Smart from PS to active roster
-Placed TE Trevon Wesco on IR #TakeFlight— Robby Sabo (@RobbySabo) November 9, 2020
Rookie Bryce Hall‘s activation means he’ll see his first taste of NFL action against Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots on Monday Night Football. If there was ever a stage ripe for an “all or nothing” national scenario, this is it for the Virginia product.
The three healthy scratches for the game are quarterback James Morgan and offensive lineman Cameron Clark, who continues to fall behind veteran Josh Andrews on the depth chart.
The positive news for the Jets comes when glancing at their weapons. Denzel Mims, Breshad Perriman and Jamison Crowder will all play together for the first time this season. Unfortunately, it comes at a time Darnold is on the shelf.
Sitting only a game ahead of the 1-7 Jacksonville Jaguars in the Trevor Lawrence race, Joe Flacco and company are hoping to push it to a half a game—something the majority of the fanbase would flat-out root against.
Kickoff from MetLife Stadium comes your way at 8:15 p.m. ET and can be seen on ESPN.
