Corey Davis revealed his favorite New York Jets uniform combination in a tweet responding to owner Woody Johnson.
Since returning from his stint as the United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Woody Johnson has put a lot of commitment into upping his Twitter game. Entering his third decade as the owner of the New York Jets, Johnson has been a Twitter machine, pumping out highlight videos on a daily basis.
On Thursday, Johnson got some discussion going on Twitter as he asked Jets fans what uniforms they preferred to see the team wear for its opening-week trip to Carolina.
Which jersey do you want to see Week 1?

As of 4:15 p.m. on July 8, the Stealth Black uniforms held an overwhelming lead with 55% of the vote. Spotlight White followed at 23% with the primary Gotham Green jersey playing third fiddle at 22%.
If history holds, the fans will not get their wish. The Panthers have a longstanding tradition of wearing white jerseys and white pants for their home opener, which would leave the Jets wearing either green or black.
It seems most likely that the Jets will choose to rock their green jerseys – it would be far from wise to go all-black in the Carolina heat.
When playing on the road against an opponent that elected to wear white jerseys (the home team gets to choose its uniform first), the Jets typically combine their green jerseys with white pants. They have long done this for their road trips to Miami, where the Dolphins typically wear white-on-white.
Here is Thomas Jones wearing the green-on-white combo down in Miami during the 2008 season-opener.
Jets fans were not the only ones to give their two cents on Johnson’s poll. Newly-signed wide receiver Corey Davis let it be known which uniform he prefers.

Davis is on the same page with the bulk of the fanbase, choosing the stealth black uniforms as his personal favorite.
The Jets have worn their Stealth Black uniform set five times since introducing it prior to the 2019 season, putting it on display three times in 2019 and twice in 2020. They have a 2-3 record in those five games, going 2-0 when wearing Stealth Black in the daylight and 0-3 when wearing it at night. Fortunately for the Jets, they do not have any home primetime games on their schedule this year.
