New York Jets QB Zach Wilson is mixing business with pleasure during a family vacation as training camp looms.

What vacation? New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson is not only throwing footballs, but he’s also digging into film while with his family.

Visitors to a certain golf course might’ve been surprised to find a member of Gang Green on the green.

Perhaps visually defining Robert Saleh‘s “All Gas, No Brake” mantra, Wilson’s father Mike shared photos of Zach throwing a football on the golf course of what appears to be the Vindanta resort in Acapulco.

The Wilson family is on vacation as the 2021 NFL season looms, but that didn’t stop Zach from getting his throws in.

“Only grass we could find to get some work in!!!” Mike said in his post earlier this week. “(Zach) throw where you can.”

Even family time can’t separate Zach from his work, apparently. In her Instagram story, his mother Lisa shared footage of a family poker game, but Zach appears far more invested in what’s on a tablet computer rather than his hand.

User “00Jets” took notice and inquired to Lisa if Zach was watching football film, to which she replies “Yes haha.”

Lisa later shared definitive proof on her Instagram account.

Wilson’s whole new meaning to family movie night is likely no surprise to his new head coach.

“He’s relentless, in terms of his want for knowledge, in terms of studying. It is interesting when he’s watching tape to see the things that he’s able to pick up and recognize,” new Jets boss Robert Saleh said during organized team activities in May, per Robby Sabo. “He’s already trying to get himself in that 501 (master class) world.

“It’s almost like (as coaches we say) ‘Hey, let’s scale back and let’s keep on learning.’ But he’s got a lot of horsepower in his mind and he’s not afraid to use all of it.”

Wilson is slated to make his unofficial Jets debut when the team opens its preseason slate against the New York Giants on Aug. 14.
