The New York Jets shared footage of their post-victory aftermath
The New York Jets earned a victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday, but the best news of all potentially waited until they made it to the locker room in the immediate aftermath.
Gang Green’s official social media accounts shared a video from the team locker room after the team’s 21-14 triumph in Houston on Sunday, their first road victory of the season. Head coach Robert Saleh informs his players that while they’ll have to get a lift in on Monday or Tuesday, their next practice has been pushed back to Wednesday, a development met with raucous cheers.

The announcement comes after Saleh gives his props to each unit, praising the defense for taking advantage of “sudden change opportunities” and “ball(ing) their (butts) off,” two plays notwithstanding (presumably the two Houston touchdowns).
Saleh was also pleased with the offense’s resiliency, claiming that they put the team “in a position to win all day,” as well as the special teams’ blocked partially blocked punt from Kenny Yeboah.
Justin Hardee and C.J. Mosley, respective captains on special teams and defense, addressed the team about the importance of not only the win in Houston but the importance of matching the intensity of the road ahead. New York (3-8) returns to MetLife Stadium next Sunday for an interconference tilt against the Philadelphia Eagles (1 p.m. ET, CBS).
“We needed this, bro. We’re on a one-game winning streak, dog, now we need to make it two,” Hardee said. “One at a time, enjoy it. 24-hour rule, bro. Enjoy this (stuff), though, because winning’s hard to come by.”
“When we beat Cincinnati, we (were) all happy because we worked our (freaking butts) off and we all played ball together,” Mosley continued.
“I want y’all to really, really feel what y’all felt today … If we’re on the right mindset, the right path, and we plan for the same thing, you’re invincible out there, man. That’s how it’s supposed to feel. So whatever you did this week we got to do more. If you do the same, we’re not getting better. We got to do more. I love you boys.”
