One week after requesting a trade, New York Jets wide receiver Elijah Moore has returned to the practice field.

In videos shared from practice, Moore could be seen embracing coaches and teammates. He appeared to be in good spirits and the team seemed glad to have him back.

Offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur greets Moore in the clip below.

Here’s Moore working on a handshake with fellow wide receiver Braxton Berrios, who played a season-high 56% of the Jets’ offensive snaps last week due to Moore’s absence.

Moore can be seen here getting some stretches in.

Jets head coach Robert Saleh told the media that Moore will practice today and play on Sunday against the New England Patriots. Saleh says he has spoken with Moore and that “he’s good”.

Saleh can be seen speaking to Moore at practice in the photo below. It appears their conversation was lengthy and positive.

Saleh told reporters that Moore is still committed to the team. When asked if he still wants to be traded, Saleh said, “I don’t know, I didn’t ask him.”

Moore and the Jets need each other right now. New York needs Moore to step up after the team lost offensive stars Breece Hall and Alijah Vera-Tucker to season-ending injuries. Moore needs to get on the field and make plays if he wants to establish himself as a star with any sort of leverage in contract or trade negotiations. He has not scored a touchdown since Week 13 of the 2021 season, going scoreless in six appearances this year.

I’m kind of glad that we don’t know and the team is keeping its business private, but I sincerely hope there was a team meeting about this in order to clear the air and move forward. Elijah can be a v important asset for us.

This is Great news !!! Glad to have Moore back. The Jets need him in the slot this week. I assume that The Pats will try to do exactly what Denver did and disguise there blitz packages wile dropping defenders underneath. Moore’s speed should help in man and he can get in the holes against zone. Very happy to hear this.

Please don’t say “convo”, use the entire word, please! Makes you sound immature and sophomoric. You’re better than that!
