Sauce is learning about the other metropolitan sports teams

A pair of Jets young’uns are taking in the scene at Madison Square Garden.

Sauce Gardner and Bam Knight, two rookies who have put together impressive runs despite coming from different places, are rocking MSG in their Rangers jerseys. (Yankees playoff hero Harrison ‘Darth’ Bader is also in attendance.)

Earlier today, Sauce asked Jets Twitter whether the rivalry is real.

New York and New Jersey residents will respond to that question with a resounding yes. The game was knotted 3-3 at the end of regulation and the Rangers took the 4-3 victory in overtime.

The Devils have been the NHL’s surprise team this season, riding a 13-game winning streak in November to a 21-5-2 record and first place in the Metro division. The Rangers, meanwhile, have scuffled following their trip to the Eastern Conference Finals last season, carrying a 15-10-5 record and in fifth place in the Metro.

It’s always fun when the local sports players visit each other’s games. Sauce and Bam are joining the festivities, hopefully for many years to come.

Well, since they are both so important to the Green & White I’ll give ’em a pass for donning stRangers jerseys. Good to see youngsters from the O and D side of the ball hitting the town.
Go Isles!

Rangers didnt even belong on the same ice with the devils until the ref called that phantom roughing penalty on seigenthaler. But nobody ever wants to hear that shitty refs excuse so i’ll see myself out. Cant wait to see the devils dominate them in nj.

Still, it’s hard not to get into a game that you’re watching, once you’re there, especially if it’s a wild game
