New York crossovers usually keep that tidbit to themselves
Who knew that Saquon Barkley is a Jets traitor?
The Giants’ star running back was asked about his favorite NFL playoff memory from growing up. His answer surprised both Gang Green and Big Blue Nations: the back-to-back AFC Championship Games that the Jets made in the 2009-10 seasons.

Saquon specifically mentioned what Mark Sanchez was able to do as a rookie and then repeat the following year.
When Saquon said he was a Jets fan growing up, a reporter quipped, “Not that many?” Saquon responded, “Nah, I’m not saying that.”
Jets fans certainly weren’t going to let this slide.

We can wish Saquon luck personally in his wild-card tilt with the Vikings on Sunday for old times’ sake, but Jets fans are certainly not going to pull a Barkley and root for a stadium rival.
Sorry, Saquon. Jets fans have their own star RB, and he may just be better than you are.
Breece vs. Saquon post-ACL tear, I wonder how they’ll compare
I’m going to guess that Breece will be better than Saquon in Year 1 post-ACL because of a likely better offensive line (as bad as the Jets’ OL was at the end of 2022, the Giants’ OLs in Saquon’s career have been horrific), a less boom-or-bust running style to begin with, and a less severe tear.
