Robert Saleh looks ripped on the golf course

Every NFL coach advises their players to stay on top of their workouts and keep their bodies in playing shape over the offseason.

According to some recent pictures, New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh appears to have followed that same advice.

In honor of the start of the 87th annual Masters golf tournament, the Jets’ official Twitter account posted photos of Saleh, their head-man and an avid golfer himself, hitting the links.

Jets fans and NFL media quickly noticed Saleh’s impressive physique, giving more attention to Saleh’s biceps than his golf game. Even a couple of Jets players, tight end C.J. Uzomah and offensive tackle Mekhi Becton, joined in on the fun.

Saleh has clearly been hitting the gym instead of the back nine, and if his players follow in his footsteps, the 2023 Jets should be in store for plenty of hole-in-ones instead of their usual Bogeys.

Golf is one of Saleh’s favorite pastimes, as he revealed to the New York Post in 2022.

“Everyone needs a vice,’’ Saleh said. “It’s an opportunity to either get away from everything, being out on the course by yourself, or be with people you enjoy being around. I’ve also used it as an opportunity to bond with the kids. I’ll grab the kids out of school and take one of them every day to go play nine holes. It is kind of a getaway, it’s a hobby, an enjoyment, just something I like to do.’’
