Aaron Rodgers promotes NHL’s Stadium Series set to be held at MetLife Stadium in 2024

If you’re a large organization hosting an event in New York City, what’s better than having New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers promote your event? Since joining Gang Green, Rodgers has completely embraced life as a metropolitan. He’s been seen at nearly every major event hosted in the city, and the appearances have now expanded to other major league affiliations.

With the NHL set to host their Stadium Series at MetLife Stadium in February 2024, the 39-year-old signal caller was quick to make the shift to promote the event.

“As a newcomer in New York this spring, I’ve felt the love when I was at MSG,” said the Jets quarterback. “And now it’s my pleasure to welcome you guys to my new home, MetLife Stadium. Can’t wait to see you at the Stadium Series in February. Go Rangers!”

The NHL’s Stadium Series is an outdoor hockey event that occurs early at the start of every year. Normally, only one series is played, but this season, there will be two different series played to accommodate the three New York metropolitan-based teams in the NHL.

In the first game, the Philadelphia Flyers will take on the New Jersey Devils on February 17. The second game will have the New York Rangers taking on the New York Islanders on February 18.

We’ve already seen Rodgers attend a Rangers game once this year.

The last time all three teams were featured in the Stadium Series was back in 2014, in its inaugural year. Those series were spread out through multiple states, but the three New York metropolitan-based teams played at Yankee Stadium for Games 2 & 3 of the series.

This will be the first time that the state of New Jersey has hosted the NHL Stadium Series, and the first time the event will be held on consecutive days.
