New York Jets wide receiver Mecole Hardman lives up to his “Jet” nickname with his latest piece of jewelry

New York Jets wide receiver Mecole Hardman is truly living up to his “Jet” nickname. The former Kansas City wide receiver was seen displaying the latest addition to his jewelry set: a diamond chain with three jets.

Hardman had his chain created by Al The Jeweler of Labelle Jewelry, located in Totowa, New Jersey. Al has created chains for plenty of NFL stars, most notably Stefon Diggs and Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner.

Hardman played an important part in the chain’s design. The 25-year-old wide receiver helped brainstorm the design that features detailed jets and a working cockpit that has a “mini Mecole Hardman” inside of it.

The entire chain took two months to create. It’s made of over 100 karats of VVS diamonds and half a kilo of gold.

Hardman’s latest piece of jewelry will get him attention off the field, but it’s on the field where the Super Bowl champion will look to shine this season.

This offseason, Hardman signed a one-year deal with the Jets worth up to $6.5 million. The former Chiefs wide receiver chose Gang Green largely due to a promise made by the team to expand his route tree. Hardman, who was primarily used as a gadget and deep threat player in Kansas City, believes he can be more versatile – and the Jets believe they can unlock that potential going forward. It certainly doesn’t hurt that he’ll be catching passes from Aaron Rodgers this season, either.
