The Jets have multiple touchdowns and a double-digit lead. Yes, you read that correctly.

The New York Jets took a 14-point lead over the Houston Texans

After yet another great drive from the New York Jets‘ offense, Xavier Gipson scored on a nine-yard touchdown run.

It was just the Jets’ fourth rushing touchdown of the season and Gipson’s first offensive touchdown of the year. Of course, his other score was a game-winning punt return touchdown against the Bills in the Jets’ season opener. The 14-0 lead is also the largest the Jets have had this season.

After being smothered in the first half, the Jets’ offense has begun to break out in the second half. Thus far, this has been the best the Jets’ offense has played in almost a month. If the team can continue their performance from today, they have a chance to end their season on a high note.
