Are the New York Jets participating in the Fog Bowl 2.0?
New York Jets fans, are you seeing ghosts?
That’s what it can feel like if you’re in Foxborough watching the Jets and Patriots duke it out in the snow.
But if you’re at home and watching it on TV, the ghosts look real.

On a snowy day in New England, it has become virtually impossible to see the numbers and landmarks on the field. Through the wonders of technology, the FOX broadcast superimposed the numbers and hashmarks on the field.
The problem was that it made the players appear transparent… like ghosts. Apparently, the FOX producers noticed this, as they removed the superimposing later in the game.
Just the word “ghosts” can make Jets fans shudder, especially in association with the Patriots. Sam Darnold’s sideline comment during the Patriots’ 33-0 drubbing of the Jets was unfortunately mic’d up, announcing to the country on Monday Night Football that the quarterback was completely rattled.
Sam Darnold is mic’d up and he came to the sidelines and said, “I’m seeing ghosts.”

While this is a far tamer reason to be seeing ghosts, it calls up reminders of one of the more infamous moments in Jets history.
