Star New York Jets running back Breece Hall expressed excitement about the team’s latest selection
Here on Day 3 of the draft, the New York Jets are on the board, and one of their best players is excited about the move.
After general manager Joe Douglas executed three trades, he stuck at pick 134 to select former Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen.
In response to the move, running back Breece Hall quickly tweeted his excitement with the selection.
@BraelonAllen Yessir!!! Let’s do it🤞🏾💯

Hall is not the only current NFL running back to show love for Allen. Baltimore Ravens star running back Derrick Henry said Allen is “HIM” in a post with the two pictured together.

Allen, a three-year starter who began his college career at 17 years old, is a bruising and contact-heavy running back. He loves to get downhill and attack defenders at the point of contact.
Allen had 3,483 career rushing yards and 35 touchdowns in a run-happy Wisconsin offense. He had 2,182 yards after contact, 145 missed tackles forced, and 77 runs of over 10 yards or more.
Allen’s selection only solidifies the Jets’ shift toward a power-running style. He fits the type of aggressive, smash-mouth identity New York is developing with prior additions such as John Simpson and Morgan Moses.
Additionally, Allen is the perfect complement to Breece Hall in the backfield. Hall is the all-around talent who can do everything the Jets need, but he is also the team’s primary home-run threat. Allen gives the Jets their bruising, short-yardage back that can constantly keep defenses on their back foot.
The Jets may have been constantly moving around the board, but with their first selection of the day, they certainly made it count.
