Appearing on “The Carton Show,” a former teammate of Aaron Rodgers doubled down on expectations for the New York Jets
A former teammate of Aaron Rodgers has high expectations for the New York Jets in 2024.
Appearing on “The Carton Show,” former Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings said that he thinks the Jets will “live up to their billing” in 2024.
“This team is going to live up to its billing. They’re probably going to get to the Super Bowl,” said Jennings.

Jennings is yet another media member who has expressed confidence in the Jets’ 2024 outlook. The two-time Pro Bowl wideout is very confident in Rodgers’ ability to elevate the offense and take the team to new heights.
As with ESPN’s Mike Clay, the expectations are rooted in substance. Rodgers has played at an elite level recently, winning MVPs in 2020 and 2021. His Hall-of-Fame resume and pedigree should allow him to regain his prior level of play.
More importantly, Rodgers has the foundation around him to make a real impact. He has a solid group of weapons led by stars Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson. He also has an offensive line that has been massively upgraded, led by star tackle Tyron Smith and the reliable Morgan Moses.
Combined with an elite defense and special teams unit, the Jets will have every opportunity to capitalize on their hype. They will have an extremely talented conference to contend with, but the Jets are finally built to compete with the best of the best.
There is a possibility the Jets fall short in 2024. But luckily for Jennings, New York is built to capitalize on the hype in 2024.
