The New York Jets punter took to X to celebrate
New York Jets punter Thomas Morstead is a dad.
Again.
Posting on X (formerly known as Twitter), the 38-year-old celebrated the birth of his newest child.

The photo indicates that this is Morstead’s fifth child. He’s got quite the brood in addition to his NFL responsibilities. He and his wife Lauren have been married since 2013, and their other children are Maxwell, Beckett, Maggie, and Rosalie.
Despite playing one of the most overlooked positions in the NFL, Morstead is a key member of the Jets. His excitement when he rejoined the Jets in the 2023 offseason was evident from his X post. He was once again exhilarated when he re-signed with them on a multi-year deal during this offseason.
Got my green on.

Showcasing his leadership in the Jets’ locker room, Morstead fired back on X when Mecole Hardman began to talk trash about his trade back to Kansas City.
Be careful getting information from disgruntled former employees. Getting beat out by a rookie free agent after being guaranteed millions of dollars is tough to deal with. Entitlement is a killer of opportunity. You have to earn it every year.

Morstead is also more available for interviews than most other Jets players. He has joined Jet X’s Cool Your Jets podcast with Ben Blessington and Michael Nania on multiple occasions.
With a growing team of his own at home, Morstead will attempt to help his NFL team, the Jets, to a Super Bowl championship in 2024.
