The New York Jets have unveiled “The Classic”
The New York Jets have one last uniform reveal for the 2024 season.
After revealing their rebranded logo and new uniforms earlier in 2024, the Jets officially announced “The Classic” throwback uniform on Monday.
Feeling nostalgic, yet?

According to a press release on the team’s website, the uniform “is both a nod to the regalia the team wore in their 1968 championship season and the familiar design of the uniform worn from 1998-2018.” An image on the team’s X (formerly Twitter) account goes into further depth, showing the 1968 nameplate and numbers and the 2000s-era stripes.
The uniforms are set to debut on October 14 when the Jets host the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football. This is scheduled to be their lone appearance of the 2024 regular season.
Dusting off the details.

It is yet another home run for the Jets in the uniform department. With the new uniforms nailing a modern-day version of the “Sack Exchange” era, the latest uniform blends the team’s other eras. The 60s-era nameplate and numbers fit seamlessly with the logo and stripes synonymous with the team from 1998-2018.
With its sleek uniforms, New York has nailed the “look good” portion of on-field wear. The Jets have arguably one of the best uniform sets in the NFL.
Now, it has to transfer onto the field. Good-looking uniforms do not mean anything if the team struggles to perform in them.
But with a highly talented roster in 2024, the Jets should be able to look good, feel good, and play good this season.
