The New York Jets have scored their first touchdown of the 2024 season.

After a methodical drive from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, running back Breece Hall punched in a three-yard touchdown to give his team a 7-3 lead over the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara, CA.

The drive was everything Jets fans have waited over a year to see.

Rodgers was accurate and methodical, whereas Garrett Wilson was smooth while catching every ball thrown his way. After a disappointing fumble lost on the previous drive, Breece Hall looked like the superstar running back everybody paints him to be.

It is a great start to the game for New York, which scored a first-quarter touchdown much earlier than it did last season. They will now look to build upon their momentum against the 49ers on Monday night.

After one quarter of play, the Jets lead the Niners, 7-6.
