This comes after Adams appeared on the “Up and Adams” show, discussing his communication with head coach Antonio Pierce. Pierce liked an Instagram post saying that Adams may have played his last down for the Raiders.
“I haven’t spoken to him,” Adams said of Pierce. “There’s been no communication with anybody from the team.”

Additionally, Adams replied, “How could you not” miss Aaron Rodgers when Kay Adams asked about him.

With these recent developments, it’s obvious that New York should pursue Adams to the highest degree.
The star wideout would benefit their offense in a variety of ways. Adams has the “mind-meld” connection with Aaron Rodgers that has been missing with Garrett Wilson this season. He fully understands where to be on every route combination and would be a safety blanket for the Jets’ star quarterback.
The impact goes just beyond that, though. Adams would open up more room for Wilson, who would have the opportunity to dominate without the pressure of being the team’s clear-cut No. 1 wide receiver. Mike Williams could face the team’s third-best coverage options, while Breece Hall and Tyler Conklin would have even more room to operate.
Ultimately, this is a move New York has to make. If they are able to pull it off, the Jets would get the jolt to their offense that could put them over the top.
