The New York Jets got on the board against the New England Patriots with a touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to Tyler Conklin.

The New York Jets are finally on the board!

After a difficult drive where New York was heavily aided by two defensive pass interference penalties, Aaron Rodgers found Tyler Conklin in the end zone for a 2-yard touchdown pass.

It was a money throw from Rodgers, who threaded the needle to his tight end deep in the red zone. However, they still trail after a missed extra point, 7-6.

It was Rodgers’ 10th touchdown pass of the season against 7 interceptions. Conklin nabbed his second touchdown in consecutive weeks. Before that, he had not scored in 32 straight games with the Jets dating back to Week 8 of the 2022 season.

Under Jeff Ulbrich, the Jets’ offense has tended to get off to a fast start before fading. It remains to be seen whether they can break this trend.

The Jets hope this drive can be the catalyst for their anemic offense. At 2-5, they must win this game to keep their hopes alive in the AFC playoff race.
