EAST RUTHERFORD—It took quite some time, but the New York Jets offense finally crossed the goal line.
Courtesy of a 21-yard touchdown reception by Garrett Wilson, the Jets pulled even with the Houston Texans on Thursday night.

Wilson made the one-handed grab thanks in part to a perfect Aaron Rodgers pass. Although it’s been an up-and-down night for the veteran, Rodgers took the hit on this one to make a tremendous play.
Frustratingly, the Jets should have scored earlier in the game. Instead, rookie Malachi Corley insanely dropped the ball before he crossed the goal line.
"What in the heck is he thinking? Why the urgency for some of these guys to drop the ball? Even if it's close. Finish the play. Get it in the end zone."

The Texans have since drilled a long-range field goal to make the score 10-7 in favor of the road team, as the third quarter winds down.
