Will Aaron come through?

With the Cincinnati Bengals’ 19-17 win over the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night, their playoff hopes now rest upon a Kansas City Chiefs win against the Denver Broncos and a New York Jets win over the Miami Dolphins.

Speaking to reporters following the game, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow shared heartfelt words about Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, emphasizing the importance of New York delivering a victory.

“I’ve been a fan of his for a long time,” Burrow said. “Watching him growing up, he was one of those guys that you love to watch, and when Monday Night, Sunday Night Football came around, you were hoping that he was on it. Hopefully, he can help us out tomorrow and break out a big-time game for us.”

Burrow was not the only Bengal to send a message to Rodgers and the Jets following the win. Four-time Pro Bowl tackle Orlando Brown Jr. poked fun at Rodgers, joking about how he might be able to encourage the 41-year-old signal-caller to deliver.

“I’m sending out a mass f****** text,” said Brown. “Hopefully, everybody takes care of business. Some guys who haven’t been playing but are going to get the opportunity are going to be hearing from me. My message to Aaron Rodgers is I’ll get his next Peru trip.”

With Cincinnati’s playoff hopes hanging on, all eyes turn to Aaron Rodgers and the Jets.

While the Jets host the Miami Dolphins, the Chiefs’ backups will be taking on the Broncos in Denver. Both games kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET.

With wins by New York and Kansas City, the Cincinnati Bengals will sneak into the playoffs with a 9-8 record.
