New York Jets strong safety Jamal Adams is just one of many NFL players disappointed in New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees.

Drew Brees is having one of those “let’s not check the internet today” days. Many NFL players (including many celebrities aren’t happy with the New Orleans Saints veteran quarterback.

One such individual is New York Jets strong safety Jamal Adams, who made his disappointment clear on Twitter.

Adams is referencing Brees’s comments about Colin Kaepernick‘s kneeling during the National Anthem. He said he would “never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America” during an interview with Yahoo Finance.

“I will never agree with somebody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America,” Brees said.

Some people have argued two things can be true at the same time. Brees can disagree with any individual disrespecting the flag but also believe the cause behind that act is one well worth fighting for.

Brees also said, “God created us all equal. We all have a responsibility to love each other and respect each other. I think that we accomplish greater things as a society and as a country when we do it together.

“I think we all recognize the changes that need to take place. I think it’s about action vs. just everybody going to social media and saying their piece… I think at the end of the day, we need to find ways to work together, to find opportunities for one another.”

On social media, that “two things can be true at the same time” thing just doesn’t exist, and the overall sentiment is firmly against Brees’s comments.

Another prominent NFL player disappointed with Brees is Michael Thomas, the veteran thrower’s favorite weapon.

The number of players and NFL-related individuals who have chimed in over the course of the day is overwhelming. For now, we’ll stick to the Jamal Adams angle and mention Michael Thomas—considering he’s Brees’s favorite target on the field.

I love Jamal he might be one of …no … he is one of the all time greatest Jets ….ever
I would be very curious to see exactly how Jamal has contributed to the black community over the years.
He comes from an NFL family so he certainly didn’t grow up in poverty.
I know that he has participated in charity events but I could not find anything on how he is helping with black elementary and secondary education, black on black on violence, unwed mothers in the black community drug addiction and any of the other many problems in the black community.
In say these things not to attempt to put down Jamal or anyone else but before you tell some one he or she can not express an opinion you might want to take a long look in the mirror and think about silencing anyones opinion
