Watch New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold connect with Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey as he works out with Jordan Palmer.
Jordan Palmer continues to deliver on the Sam Darnold goods. It seems whenever the two are together, Instagram videos fly across the internet.
On Wednesday, Darnold action with two of the best running backs in the game popped up.
First, he hit New York Giants back Saquon Barkley on the red zone dig:

Then he came back with the crosser to Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey:

Finally, Darnold tests his route-running abilities—something that should be avoided at most costs moving forward:
Somebody help me break this one down. Is that Sam Darnold running the route and yes, he's sort of looking like Tom Brady the receiver here (not that bad, but give it a decade and a half). (IG/devinquinning) #Jets pic.twitter.com/tK3JD4TkEf

The videos surfaced from Instagram account @devinquinning and come on the heels of Darnold’s three-day workout session in Flordia with Jets teammates (Le’Veon Bell, Frank Gore, Denzel Mims and more).
Darnold, 23, is already entering the third year of his NFL career. The young buck has played 13 games in each of his first two seasons to minimal success. The vast majority of Jets fans understand the deal. The USC product just hasn’t enjoyed the supporting cast (especially the offensive line) others in his class have (Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, to name a couple).
Joe Douglas did his best to put together competition in front of Darnold in 2020, which should at least allow the kid a chance to make his first mark on the league.
Denzel Mims, Breshad Perriman, Jamison Crowder, Chris Herndon and Le’Veon Bell should be more than enough in terms of weaponry to get it done. That is if the offensive line does its job first.
