The New York Jets’ dream return for Jamal Adams should be Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin while “keeping up with Jamal.”
Welcome to “Keeping up with Jamal,” the show everybody hates yet cannot help but watch. It’s the show that’s raking in record ratings yet turns the stomach at every turn.
On Monday, the latest episode in the series was distributed when Jamal Adams did his best Little Mac impression and quote-tweeted a Marcus Maye tweet.
First, Adams posted the following video of him running to Lil’ Baby’s “All In.”
Cryptology: "The study of codes, or the art of writing and solving them." The latest episode of "Keeping up with Jamal" has surfaced.

The lyrics to the 15-second clip are exactly what the New York Jets best player wants to share with the world.
“I be at James Harden house, I’m all in Houston, in the mix
I’m talkin’ ’bout spare time in New York, I buy floor seats to watch the Knicks
…
And we ain’t squashin’ sh*t for free, you gotta pay us
You better pay up, yeah”
And yes, for those who don’t know, the “Little Mac” reference deals with Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out.
It’s tough to get mad at the man at all after such a video. He literally had somebody in a car or on a scooter capturing his moving jog. Adams needs a damn production team now.
To cap it off, he basically provided his goodbyes to teammate and safety running mate Marcus Maye.

Labeling the Adams-Maye duo the best safety tandem in the league is a legitimate claim. Adams’s box/edge work coupled with Maye’s deep-safety coverage (single-high, angel) is a perfect match the Jets have been lucky enough to showcase for three years.
Lastly, nobody knows what the future holds (or even whether or not it’s possible to salvage the relationship), but if the Jets were to trade the man, there’s one dream return and it involves Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin. The Penn State product will be a free agent after the 2020 season and is exactly what Sam Darnold needs at the moment.
Of course, such a deal is far-fetched. Bucs general manager Jason Licht isn’t looking to deal Godwin anytime soon, but the match that is Adams back with Todd Bowles and in Tampa as that missing piece on defense is an intriguing thought.
All of that and more is discussed on Sabo Radio 47.
