Zach Wilson, Dan Feeney and other New York Jets players showed up to support the Islanders for Game 4 at the Coliseum.
Even though the 2021 New York Jets are not scheduled for Sunday Night Football this season, they’ve already captured a big moment on NBC this year.
Down 2-1 in their best-of-seven series with the Pittsburgh Penguins, the New York Islanders received some special support for Game 4 of their Stanley Cup playoff series on Saturday.
Jets players partook in the Islanders’ postseason showdown over the weekend. The group was headlined by the appearance of Zach Wilson, the Jets’ second overall choice in the 2021 NFL draft.
The Islanders are one the only metropolitan representation in the NHL postseason, seeded fourth in the league’s East Division.

Those Jets in attendance, mainly consisting of Wilson and his new blockers, were adorned in Islander uniforms bearing the numerals they wear, or will wear, on MetLife Stadium’s turf when the 2021 season kicks off in September.
The camera cut to Wilson in the stands after Josh Bailey scored the first goal of the game for New York in the second period, while incoming offensive lineman Dan Feeney‘s joyous reaction took the broadcast into a commercial break.

The Jets have remained supportive of their fellow metropolitan squads partaking in spring playoff competitions. In addition to their prescience in Uniondale, the Jets wished both the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks good luck in their upcoming endeavors in the NBA playoffs.
