Marcus Maye, Elijah Moore headline New York Jets’ inactives against the Tennessee Titans
Safety Marcus Maye and receiver Elijah Moore are the New York Jets’ most notable inactives for their Week 4 showdown against the Tennessee Titans (1 p.m. ET, CBS).
They’re joined by running back La’Mical Perine, receiver Jeff Smith, cornerback Jason Pinnock, and defensive lineman Tim Ward.
Jamison Crowder will make his season debut.

Notable absences from the weekly inactive list include Moore and Smith’s fellow receivers Jamison Crowder and Denzel Mims.
Crowder, the Jets’ top statistical receiver over the last two seasons, will make his 2021 debut after a bout with COVID-19 while Mims returns to the line after he shut down for the last two weekends.
Both Moore and Smith are reeling from concussions while Maye is likely out for at least the next three weeks with ankle issues. Moore was forced to leave the late stages of the Jets’ 26-0 loss in Denver last week while Smith was placed in the injury list after he was involved in a car accident on his way to the Jets’ Florham Park facility.
On the other side, Tennessee confirmed that they will be missing top receivers Julio Jones and A.J. Brown, each of whom departed last week’s win over Indianapolis early.
