Zach Wilson’s Sunday was anything but idle
Zach Wilson‘s Sunday best often involves green, but he and his New York Jets teammates ditched that for some more formal digs with the team blessed with a rare Sunday off.

Wilson’s Instagram showcased a photo of the quarterback flanked by two teammates, defensive lineman Quinnen Williams and fullback Nick Bawden, as well as their significant others.
Noticeably unencumbered by any sort of foot protection after suffering a sprained PCL in the Jets’ Oct. 24 loss in New England, Wilson appears alongside girlfriend Abbey Gile while Williams and Bawden appear alongside their respective better halves, Maranda and Alexis.
Wilson’s comment section is filled with the words of well-wishers and admirers, including his medically-induced replacement, Mike White. His fellow New York thrower referred to Wilson as a “Stud muffin,” adding a heart emoji for good measure.

Time will tell if Wilson returns to the field in time for the Jets’ Sunday afternoon showdown against the Buffalo Bills (1 p.m. ET, CBS). His original timetable to return after the loss in Foxboro was 2-to-4 weeks.
White has performed very serviceably in Wilson’s place, though he himself was injured during Thursday’s loss in Indianapolis. Well-traveled practice squad rep Josh Johnson was the next to take over, throwing for 312 yards and three scores at Lucas Oil Stadium.
