Alijah Vera-Tucker could not resist commenting on Zach Wilson’s siblings photo
New York Jets guard Alijah Vera-Tucker usually exhibits a laid-back, quiet demeanor, but he showed off some of his comedic prowess by taking a light-hearted jab at his fellow 2021 draftee, quarterback Zach Wilson.
In honor of National Siblings Day, Wilson posted a photo to his Instagram account of himself while posing with his five siblings, all wearing similar outfits in varying shades of white and gray.
Wilson captioned the post, “Happy National Siblings Day to this amazing group of mine. Having a big family keeps life exciting! Love these guys!”
Naturally, Vera-Tucker, recognizing the obvious similarities between Wilson and his siblings, decided to joke with his quarterback by commenting, “Which one is you?”
Wilson responded to Vera-Tucker with a series of crying-laughing emojis, clearly taking the joke in stride and getting in on the fun.
Jets players aren’t allowed to do any official team activities until April 18, but that hasn’t stopped them from finding ways to build team chemistry, even if it comes at each other’s expense.
Going after one another in a good-hearted way on social media is nothing new for these New York Jets players. Wilson has been in on the fun in the past, as had teammates Dan Feeney and others.
Nobody will soon forget Feeney’s chugging excellence a year ago during the New York Islanders Stanley Cup Playoff run, which seemingly kickstarted this new groups’ public yet team-bonding adventure.
