Get in all your bets on Super Bowl 57 in the game dubbed the Andy Reid Revenge Bowl or the Kelce Bowl, as the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes seeks to win his second Super Bowl in four years, while Jalen Hurts looks to become the first legitimate dual-threat rushing quarterback to win a ring.

bet365 has NFL bettors covered for the entire game, with a current line of Philadelphia at -1.5. Given the way the Eagles have dismantled everyone in their path and the Chiefs’ myriad of injuries, that seems like a good bet—especially with this special bet365 Virginia Promo Code resulting in a guaranteed $200 bonus.

bet365 became the first new sportsbook legalized in Virginia in 2023. The U.K.-based vendor is looking to aggressively expand in the United States.

Virginia becomes the fourth state on its ledger, joining New Jersey, Colorado, and Ohio. Expect Pennsylvania to be the next on that list.

Virginia Jets and NFL fans, here’s your chance! Grabbing a welcome promo as it goes live is a great way to get ahead of the curve on all your betting needs.

Andy Reid Bowl

Super Bowl 57 has many fascinating storylines. The championship features the No. 1 seed from each conference for the first time since 2017 and only the second time in the last decade. With all the parity in the NFL, this year is about strength vs. strength, the best AFC team vs. the top NFC squad.

Andy Reid will take on his former team for the Super Bowl after having failed to secure the ultimate prize during his 14-year tenure with the Eagles despite an impressive run of success. Reid and the Eagles dropped the Super Bowl 39 to Bill Belichick and the Patriots but also lost four other NFC Championships. Overall, Reid led Philadelphia to nine playoff appearances and six division titles.

Reid was so well-respected around the league that when the Eagles declined to renew his contract following the 2012 season, several teams had planes lined up at the airport to bring in the coach for an interview. Reid was hired by Kansas City a mere four hours after his contract expired with Philadelphia. The Chiefs have certainly gotten a good end of that deal.

However, Philadelphia has acquitted itself well, too. They finally broke their championship drought with the 2017 Super Bowl thriller over the Patriots in a franchise revenge game. Now, Nick Sirianni’s squad seeks to do it again and hand Reid his second Super Bowl defeat in three seasons.

Kelce Bowl

Who doesn’t know the Kelce brothers, two of the most outspoken and beloved NFL players to their respective franchises. Jason, the Eagles’ aging center, continues to dominate opponents with his dominant run-blocking and airtight pass protection. Meanwhile, Travis elevated his game to a whole different level this season following the loss of Tyreek Hill, splitting double teams and further solidifying his first-ballot Hall of Fame credentials.

Travis had other things to worry about last week, as he took some shots at Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati mayor’s machismo following Kansas City’s 23-20 victory in the AFC Championship Game.

Meanwhile, Jason stated that this ends his run of rooting for Kansas City this season. Somehow, this clash of the titans seemed inevitable despite the consistent underestimation of the Chiefs in favor of the Bills and other AFC teams.

The Kelce parents will likely split their jerseys for this one.

MVP Matchup

Patrick Mahomes is the likely NFL MVP, having effectively quieted all the doubters who thought he would struggle in the absence of Tyreek Hill. Mahomes threw for 5,250 yards and 41 TDs in the regular season and has added 521 yards and four TD passes in his two postseason games. His herculean effort against Cincinnati included 326 yards and two touchdown passes on a clearly ailing ankle. Mahomes continues to demonstrate that he is one of the best pure quarterbacks the game has ever seen.

On the other side of the aisle, there is Jalen Hurts, the oft-underestimated, previously beleaguered dual-threat quarterback of the Eagles. This year was a make-or-break one for Hurts, as the Eagles stockpiled first-round picks and put themselves in a clear position to draft his successor if he did not prove himself this year. Hurts responded with an MVP-caliber campaign that included a 66.5% completion rate, 3,701 passing yards, 22 TD, 6 INT, 8.0 YPA, a second-best 1.9% turnover-worthy play rate, fourth-best 78.0% on-target rate, and a 101.5 passer rating. He added 758 rushing yards and 10 TDs on the ground.

Although the likes of Cam Newton made the Super Bowl before, Hurts is looking to become the first dual-threat QB to win it all. Russell Wilson is the closest to that, but Wilson had just six rush attempts per game that season compared to Hurts’s 11. Hurts is more in the Newton/Lamar Jackson ilk of passers, and those quarterbacks often seem to come up short. A Super Bowl victory where Hurts plays like a true MVP would go a long way for the likes of Justin Fields and other running quarterbacks looking to further break the NFL’s mold of traditional passers.

Injuries

Mahomes is still operating on a high-ankle sprain, which he clearly aggravated in putting everything on the line in the AFC Championship. Although he will have two weeks to heal, such an injury normally takes four to six weeks to recover from. Mahomes’s health will be a key story against the fearsome Eagles’ pass rush since it was clear that his evasiveness and mobility were hampered against Cincinnati. He was pressured on 42% of his dropbacks against the Bengals, per Pro Football Focus, and performed remarkably, completing 73.3% of his passes for 130 yards and a TD for a 96.9 rating.

Meanwhile, the Eagles pass rush pressured 49ers QBs on 20 of 27 dropbacks last week, obviously promoted by the fact that San Francisco did not have a quarterback who could throw the ball for nearly half the game. However, the Eagles still put up 20 pressures, three sacks, and six QB hits, making it possible that they would have easily handled the 49ers even with a healthy Purdy.

The Chiefs are also in trouble with their receivers. Already lacking a true No. 1 and down receiver Justin Watson prior to the game, they watched JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, and Kadarius Toney depart from the championship, leaving them with Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, and practice squad member Marcus Kemp as their lone options. It remains to be seen what depth they will have at the position for the Super Bowl.

On the Eagles’ side, the biggest question is still the quarterback’s health. Jalen Hurts looked none the worse for wear against the Giants, but he was inaccurate and generally did not play well against the 49ers. He went 15-for-25 for 121 yards and a 72.6 rating and added 11 rushes for 39 yards (3.55 YPC), generally looking more like himself from prior to this year.

However, Kansas City’s defense is not San Francisco’s despite giving Joe Burrow a hard time. They ranked 15th in pressure rate during the regular season. Chris Jones, who registered the first two postseason sacks of his career against Cincinnati, will need to play up to his Defensive Player of the Year form to stop Hurts and the Eagles’ other speed weapons.

This Super Bowl is as evenly matched as the spread indicates, so get in on the action now with bet365’s $200 promo!
