‘NFL is rigged’ content makes the rounds on social media each year
If the NFL is scripted, New York Jets players Alijah Vera-Tucker and Mekhi Becton sure did not get the memo.
Vera-Tucker took to Twitter to meme his reaction to former Texans running back Arian Foster’s detailed description of the NFL’s weekly script.

Getting Stephen A. Smith in on the action in New York is always going to score some points. AVT does have a really good point, though: things must’ve sure been tough when he read in the Week 7 script that he’d be going down for the season with a triceps tear. I’m sure players would be just thrilled to learn that the NFL decides when they’re going to be injured. Damar Hamlin, in particular, must have had a good laugh.
AVT followed his fellow offensive lineman and former first-round pick, Becton, who had a similar reaction to Foster’s absurd notions.

Becton is referring to his knee injury in Week 1 of the 2021 season when guard Greg Van Roten fell on his knee. The injury kept Becton out the entire season and eventually spiraled into a two-year hiatus from the league.
The NFL is not the WWE. Thanks though, Arian, for giving us all a laugh.
