STATES: MA (PRE-REGISTRATION)

Massachusetts retail sports betting launched on Jan. 31, 2023, whereas Massachusetts mobile sports betting isn’t expected to go live until mid-March 2023.

It’s why this special FanDuel Promo Code is live in Massachusetts for all sports fans interested in hopping aboard the legal sports betting train.

How Can I Get the FanDuel Massachusetts Promo Pre-Registration Offer?

This offer is limited-time only, as by the time FanDuel Massachusetts launches in mid-March 2023, it will be too late to get the $100 in bonus bets.

This is a great double-dip offer, as it will also allow bettors to gain whatever first-time user promo FanDuel will have when it goes live (currently a $1,000 No-Sweat First Bet in other states, including New York and New Jersey).

To sign up for this early-bird special, follow these simple steps.

  1. Click on one of Jets X-Factor’s FanDuel Mass Promo offers.

Downfall of Belichick?

Bill Belichick is widely considered the greatest NFL coach of all time, but that stock has taken somewhat of a hit since Tom Brady left time. Brady’s success in Tampa, including a ring without Belichick, made his old coach look less vital to the Patriots’ success than TB12 had been.

Additionally, Belichick has made many questionable decisions in his general manager role. He has notoriously failed to develop a single wide receiver from within that rule. Tyquan Thornton showed glimpses of talent but finished the season with just 22 receptions in 13 games. It is known that the Patriots’ offensive terminology is generally quite complicated and difficult for rookies to pick up.

Furthermore, last year’s selection of Cole Strange in the first round does not look any better a year later. Belichick was widely lampooned for the move after video surfaced of an inebriated Sean McVay saying he had hoped Strange would be available in the third round. Although Strange also showed flashes, he was benched several times even along the Patriots’ uneven and injury-riddled offensive line.

Then again, Belichick always manages to make lemonade out of lemons on the defensive side of the ball. Unheralded names such as Jack Jones, Jonathan Jones, Josh Uche, Ja’Whaun Bentley, Deatrich Wise Jr., and Jahlani Tavai anchored New England’s third-ranked defense by DVOA.

Even with New England’s defensive strength and acquisition of a proper offensive coordinator in Bill O’Brien, the NFL does not really believe in Mac Jones any longer. With Jones at the helm, the Patriots could well be consigned to that no-man’s-land of mediocrity: perpetually running between 9-8 and 8-9 without the ability to draft a QB of the future or get over the hump.

Belichick likely won’t go anywhere until he sets the NFL record for wins by a head coach (he is currently at 298, 30 behind Don Shula and 20 fewer than George Halas). Still, without a competent QB, there is seemingly only so much The Hoodie can do, even with his evil genius persona.

FanDuel Super Bowl 58 Odds

If you’re keeping an eye on what your odds will soon be in Massachusetts or you’re a bettor in a state where FanDuel is live, the Super Bowl 58 future odds are live. Here are some best bets to select.

San Francisco 49ers +900

The Eagles and 49ers have to be considered the NFC’s two best teams, even with San Francisco’s relative uncertainty at quarterback. They’re tied with +900 odds, but the 49ers have a clearer path ahead due to their division. A lot more has to go right for the Seahawks to repeat their 2022 playoff run and the Rams and Cardinals (sans Kyler Murray) to bounce back in 2023. By contrast, the Cowboys will be a thorn in the Eagles’ side for years to come.

NFC teams are always a nice bet because it will be easier for them to get to the Super Bowl. Once you’re in the dance, anything can happen.

Jacksonville Jaguars +2500

Easy division. Ascending QB. Top play-caller. Talent at the skill positions with a possible Calvin Ridley return looming. Jacksonville came on down the stretch of 2022. It’s always a tough slate in the AFC, but why can’t T-Law follow in the footsteps of the 2017 Eagles under Carson Wentz/Nick Foles?

Carolina Panthers +5500

Considering that the Panthers traded away their best offensive player last season, they came away in remarkable shape. This team will most likely draft a quarterback if they do not acquire Derek Carr or Lamar Jackson. If a guy like C.J. Stroud falls to Carolina, look for him to make some noise immediately. They also have two second-round picks, which could help them stock some talent to help their young QB.

Coming out of a division in which not a single team has a legitimate solution at QB, it makes sense to pick a team with potential upside. In my opinion, that’s the Panthers. (You can always go with the Falcons at +7500 instead if you believe that they’re the favorites for Jackson.)

Seattle Seahawks +6000

FanDuel is surprisingly bearish on the 2022 playoff team. They clearly do not believe that Geno Smith’s breakout was for real. If you do, though, there’s a lot to like about Seattle. They had a killer 2022 draft and now have a running back, two tackles, two top receivers, a strong tight end thanks to the Russell Wilson trade, a breakout star cornerback, and a terrific young middle linebacker.

For these odds, why not throw some money at the Seahawks?
