Garrett Wilson joined the cast of New York Jets players who have attended other NY sporting events
When you’re a first-round pick for the New York Jets, you become an instant celebrity in New York.
When you’re the Offensive Rookie of the Year after having been a first-round pick, you’re a mega-star.
That’s the treatment Jets receiver Garrett Wilson receives in the metropolitan area. He deserves it after putting up 83 receptions, 1,103 yards, and four touchdowns in his rookie season.
So when Wilson attended a Knicks game courtside, the Garden celebrated him in due course. Wilson rewarded the crowd with his trademark ear-to-ear smile, the one that endeared him to Jets fans immediately upon his draft selection.

Meanwhile, Wilson’s co-Rookie of the Year awardee, Sauce Gardner, got jealous of No. 10’s reception at the Garden and attempted to get in on the action himself.
I might have to tap in with a Knicks game🤣

However, not even Sauce’s great celebrity in New York could get him those tickets, which are apparently sold out.
Of course, Sauce isn’t going to let that go without some drama.
To think I was about to come in with a special guest that was about to have Jets fans doing backflips is crazzyy🫢🤣 https://t.co/3kHaCMKAwO

Let’s take a vote: which special guest was Sauce going to bring to the game? The last time he teased a “special guest,” it turned out to be rapper Lil Baby who attended his rookie dinner.
Either way, expect to see a lot more from these Jets stars and others, especially if the Knicks, (Nets), Rangers, Devils, and Islanders all keep up their postseason positioning.
