New York Jets running back Breece Hall spoke to NFL Total Access on Wednesday

While the NFL world may not be ready to see a successful New York Jets team, the Jets themselves are excited about what’s to come.

With Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, the Jets’ offense should take a major leap from a disappointing 2022 season that saw them finish 29th in points per game. On top of acquiring Rodgers, the Jets added extra weapons on the offensive side of the ball.

New York signed two of Rodgers’ running mates in Green Bay – Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb – and brought in Mecole Hardman in free agency. The team also drafted Israel Abanikanda to further strengthen a promising running back room that is led by Breece Hall – who spoke to NFL Total Access on Wednesday about the team.

Hall believes that the Jets will have an answer to anything opponents throw at them this season. With talent on both sides of the ball, the team has a real chance to cause trouble this season – and the second-year running back knows it.

“I mean with the offense we have right now, I think we have an answer for everything,” said Hall. “If you don’t want to load the box, Aaron’s going to get the ball off all day. If you do we’ve got the RPOs and we’ve got him to take shots, and we have the receivers that are going to make plays for us as well. And if the offense is struggling, we have the backbones of our defense to rely on. We’re excited for that, for sure.”

Hall is confident in the team’s talent and believes success will come as long as everyone pulls their weight.

“With our offense and the guys we have, with the defense we have. I feel like as long as we do our one-eleventh on each side of the ball – offense, defense and special teams – we’ll be fine,” he said.

Although there is plenty to be excited about, Hall’s health remains a mystery. The running back has said that he intends to be ready by Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills, but only time will tell.

“I’m doing pretty good right now,” Hall said. “I’ve been saying I’ll be ready for the first game, so right now I’m just focusing on getting my knee as strong as possible, just getting that confidence back. But it’s been going well so far.”

Hall is expected to play a key role in the Jets offense this season, if he’s healthy. The 22-year old will look to build off his stellar seven-game performance that saw him put up 681 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns before missing the rest of the season with a torn ACL.
