Multiple Jets players had some thoughts to share on X after their victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.

After the team’s 20-14 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, multiple New York Jets players had comments to share on the social media platform X.

Perhaps the most notable post came from Sauce Gardner, who did not play Sunday as he dealt with a concussion. In response to a post made by Brown on Saturday, Gardner posted, “That getback a mf,” using the same exact meme of J. Cole that Brown used in his original post.

Wide receiver Garrett Wilson said that the Jets are “taking names” and seemingly referenced the Eagles by saying not to “talk crazy” on the field. Left tackle Mekhi Becton posted a trio of memes with the caption, “They told us on the field ‘we let yall score.'”

Defensive end Jermaine Johnson had multiple things to say after the game. The Florida State product said, “You can see it in someone’s eyes when they don’t want you to run through them” and “when I sense that, my immediate [thought] is to go right through your face and see how you respond.”

Johnson also spoke about the team’s mentality after the game.

“This team just faces adversity after adversity, we hear rat poison in our ears, and for these guys to just go out there, tune it out, work their butts off in practice, training, meetings, everything,” said Johnson.

“After all the negative things we hear, and all the negative things that happen to us, for us to go out there and do what we did is no surprise to me.”

The Jets, through all of their ups and downs this season, have found a way to reach 3-3 as they head into their bye week. They have seemingly become tight-knit through adversity, and Sunday’s performance shows a mentality that could lead to plenty more victories going forward.
