Rodgers took his first outing post-surgery with three New York Jets offensive linemen
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers loves two things: football and golf.
While he barely played any football this season, he’s finally back at his second love.
Rodgers took a golf outing at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas. He took along three offensive linemen: Max Mitchell, Connor McGovern, and Chris Glaser. Absent any NFL jaw-dropping moments, Rodgers accomplished a rare feat — a hole-in-one.

As Rodgers explained, this was the first time he went golfing since his Achilles surgery. Over the years, golf has been a big part of his offseason game. In the 2023 offseason, his viral quote “I’m not going to San Francisco” came during a golf tournament. In the past, he and Tom Brady defeated Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen in a tournament called “The Match.”
After Rodgers tore his Achilles four snaps into his debut with the Jets, much of the spotlight on him surrounded his superhuman effort to return from injury. He ultimately decided not to push himself after the Jets were eliminated from playoff contention in Week 15 against the Dolphins.
Still, he has reiterated multiple times that he plans on playing more than just one year with the Jets. The team activated him off injured reserve in late December, and he participated in practice from there on in. Now, the next step of his rehab is complete, as he was able to return to the golf green.
The Jets simply hold their breath that he won’t sustain another injury before ever completing a pass in green.
