FanDuel ranked one of the New York Jets’ offensive stars as the best AFC player at his position
One of the New York Jets’ brightest young stars is earning respect around the NFL.
In a post on X, the betting company FanDuel revealed their AFC running back power rankings. Sitting on top of the list, over the likes of Derrick Henry and Jonathan Taylor, was Jets running back Breece Hall.

There may be some who are confused by Hall’s ranking if they did not watch all of the Jets’ games. They might argue that Chubb, Taylor, or Henry have better pedigrees and more established track records of production.
Those people, however, would be severely understating the talent and impact Hall showed in 2023.
Coming off of an ACL tear, the Iowa State product racked up 1,584 all-purpose yards, ranking second among all running backs and first among AFC running backs. Hall added nine total touchdowns.
The Jets’ 2022 second-round pick averaged 3.43 yards after contact per attempt, placing third-best among the 37 running backs with at least 150 carries. He led all NFL running backs in receiving yardage with 591 yards.
Most impressively, Hall did it by himself for the majority of the season, as the team’s quarterback and offensive line positions were brutal.
Hall already had a claim to being the best running back in the AFC, and that was before Aaron Rodgers’s return and the 2024 offseason’s additions to the offensive line.
With a much-improved roster surrounding him, Hall has a chance to put up some insane numbers in 2024. If that comes to fruition, Hall will solidify his standing as the best running back in the AFC and possibly the best in the NFL.
