The main event of the offseason is just days away. Hope springs eternal as the NFL draft nears and fresh football blood is primed to inject each of the 32 National Football League organizations.

Of course, around these parts, all eyes are on Joe Douglas and the New York Jets first-round selection at No. 10. No matter where you think the Jets are going—Brock Bowers, Joe Alt, J.C. Latham, etc.—understanding what our ESPN Bet Promo Code can do for you on Thursday night is an incredible thing.

Those new to ESPN Bet can get started with a guaranteed $150 on bonus bets. All that’s required is a new ESPN Bet Sportsbook account, a minimum deposit, and a first-time wager on anything (within the seven-day activation window).

There’s nothing quite like the NFL draft. Sure, the other sports have their own drafts—which all have their moments—but there’s nothing quite like the unpredictability and the immediate impact the NFL draft provides.

That is exactly why the opening round (in primetime) has become nearly as big a spectacle as the Super Bowl. It’s so big that sportsbooks go out of their way to offer any odds they can craft, which is great because it means this time of year features many of the most rewarding NFL sportsbook promo codes all year.

By placing a bet of just $1 on the NFL draft, you can make $150 in guaranteed bonus bets. You could stand to make even more—especially if you don’t believe the Jets will draft Brock Bowers. But more on that a little later.

ESPN Bet Promo Code: Activation Steps

Sportsbooks lose more money on the NFL draft than any other sporting event. Therefore, it’s critical to remember that when strategizing your sports betting plan of attack.

Better yet, X-Factor proudly ensures you’re getting in on the fun. While using promo code JETSX when creating a new ESPN Bet account, follow these three simple steps to guarantee yourself a $150 head start:

  1. Select X-Factor’s ESPN Bet Promo Code Offer.
  2. Use promo code JETSX when signing up for ESPN Bet. You will need to create a new account to get this offer, so simply provide the required information essential to create a sportsbook account and keep it safe and secure in the long run.
  3. With your new ESPN Bet account live, make any first-time eligible bet on any sport, game, and/or player within seven days of account creation.

Technically speaking, your promotion activation wager does not need to be on the NFL draft. But since the NFL draft leans in the bettors’ favor more than any other, we strongly suggest getting in on the action.

ESPN Bet: New York Jets NFL Draft Odds

ESPN Bet has a whole host of New York Jets NFL draft odds for you to choose from. Ranging from the 10th overall pick to player-specific odds and even the position of the Jets’ first pick, there’s more than enough to peruse and select.

However, we’ll start with simplicity.

With the 10th pick of the NFL draft, ESPN Bet believes the New York Jets will select Georgia tight end Brock Bowers.

Bowers is given +175 odds to go 10th overall, far and away the favorite with the pick. Second place on the market is a tie between Oregon State’s Taliese Fuaga and Washington’s Troy Fautanu, both given +600 odds. If you’re hoping for a wide receiver, Rome Odunze has the best odds at +700.

Whether it’s at No. 10 or not, the sportsbooks believe the Jets will draft Brock Bowers. They’re given +110 odds to select the tight end (at any point in the draft—not just No. 10), though the Indianapolis Colts are serious competition at +350.

Nobody else is considered a real threat. The Cincinnati Bengals clock in at third, at +900.

Don’t fret if you’re an offensive line guy, however. Even with both of those markets pointing towards Bowers, tight end as a position isn’t the favorite to be the Jets’ first pick.

In the position-specific market, ESPN Bet gives the Jets +105 odds to go with an offensive lineman. Tight end is second at +145, whereas wide receiver isn’t that far behind at +240.

How Often Are the NFL Draft Odds Correct?

At this point, you may wonder how often the NFL draft odds are correct—particularly concerning the New York Jets. The following is a quick breakdown of how oddsmakers viewed the Jets since Joe Douglas has been the general manager.

In 2023, the Jets were -300 to draft an offensive tackle. It was seen as a sure-thing lock. And well, maybe it would have been if the Pittsburgh Steelers hadn’t traded up for Broderick Jones.

But in reality, the pick was Will McDonald, a defensive lineman. To the oddsmakers’ credit, defensive line was second on the market at +300.

In 2022, Sauce Garnder was the favorite at +300 to go fourth overall, just edging out Ikem Ekwonu and Aidan Hutchinson, who were both +350.

However, at 10th overall, the favorite was Alabama’s Jameson Williams at +250. Garrett Wilson was second at +300, as books had him tied as the favorite to go No. 8 overall to the Atlanta Falcons with Drake London.

In 2021, Zach Wilson was the runaway favorite. He was given -2000 odds to be the No. 1 pick in the draft. No odds were available then for what the Jets would do with their second first-round pick that year—since it wasn’t a top-10 selection.

In 2020, the books just got this one completely wrong. They were certain the Jets were going to select a wide receiver. CeeDee Lamb was the favorite at +350, followed by Jerry Jeudy at +500.

Mekhi Becton, the eventual pick, was third on the market at +600. You can credit the books for having the right offensive line at the top of the market, but they clearly got the position wrong.
