Garrett Wilson shut down any speculation of a fight between him and Aaron Rodgers

For the New York Jets, there are no problems between Garrett Wilson and Aaron Rodgers.

During his media availability, the star wide receiver spoke about his relationship with Rodgers and why their discussions are not an issue.

“I mean those videos, they, they look a certain way, and then, you know, we’re both passionate guys on the football field,” Wilson explained. “I was just telling Jared, I’m a different guy out on the field than I am, whenever y’all see me after the game or whenever it may be. And Aaron’s kind of the same way. So it’s really just a conversation that we’re both like-minded.”

Appearing on the Up & Adams Show later in the day, Wilson dove into the topic again.

“We are both always trying to get better. And sometimes when you’re passionate about something and you love something, it may look a certain way. But it’s honestly crazy how likeminded we are. So we can have conversations like that.”

He also spoke about how Rodgers pushes him to be the best possible player he can be.

“You could have a perfect flawless day but Aaron’s the type of guy where it’s always detail-oriented… he doesn’t let me slide on any of that, which I appreciate him for.”

People will always publish clickbait and look to blow up situations, but there is truly nothing to worry about when it comes to Rodgers and Wilson.

The best competitors always push each other toward greatness. At times, those discussions and actions can cause arguments. Rodgers said as much in his own press conference, remarking, “The best ones have always done that.” This is the case with Rodgers and Wilson.

All the passion is paying off. The Rodgers-to-Wilson connection is improving every day, elevating the offense to a new level.

Some may see it as bad for the quarterback and wide receiver to argue, but their drive to be the best will only help the Jets win more games in 2024.
