The running back also spoke about 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, his college roommate at Iowa State for over two years.
“Being with him, he loves video games, he plays piano, he likes soap operas, musicals, and stuff like that. So he’s definitely more interesting than you might think… his favorite movie is Mamma Mia.”
Hall added that Purdy’s success is “not surprising to him” and that his “work ethic” helped propel him to his current position as a player.
Additionally, Hall spoke about defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw and what he can bring to New York.
“We stole one of their guys in Javon Kinlaw, so it’s been great to have him over here. He’s a beast.”

The 49ers and Jets are strongly linked. Key members of each coaching staff have worked side by side. Multiple players – such as Kinlaw, Hall, Purdy, Solomon Thomas, and Aaron Rodgers – have ties to each other, the Jets, or the 49ers.
It provides an excellent foundation for a matchup that promises to be an exciting one. Both teams have championship aspirations and are looking to start the season off on a high note. And if Hall and the Jets play the way they are capable of, they will have a great chance to be the team that comes out 1-0.
