#Jets OT Morgan Moses, after a battery of tests, is expected to miss 2-4 weeks with an MCL sprain and bone bruise, per me and @MikeGarafolo. A sigh of relief for the key veteran.

At the end of the third quarter, a player hit Moses in the legs from behind and he collapsed to the field. Moses writhed in agony, initially which caused many to assume the worst. However, Moses was able to walk to the locker room on his own.
The minimum timetable of two weeks would cause Moses to miss the Jets’ Week 4 home game against the Denver Broncos and their Week 5 game in London against the Minnesota Vikings. The Jets will host the Buffalo Bills in Week 6 before traveling to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7.
In Moses’ place steps 2024 first-round pick Olu Fashanu. Fashanu replaced Moses at right tackle on Thursday night and played the Jets’ final 13 offensive snaps; earlier in the game, he played one other offensive snap as an extra lineman, paving the way for a Breece Hall touchdown.
It was a small sample of reps, but Fashanu flashed the talent that made him the 11th overall pick. Fashanu had several good run blocks and didn’t allow any pressures on six pass-blocking snaps.
The Jets’ mini-bye week gives Fashanu an extended period of time to prepare for Vance Joseph’s Broncos defense next Sunday. The 21-year-old rookie will aim to help the Jets offensive line continue its hot start in pass protection for Aaron Rodgers, who has only taken 5 sacks through Week 3.
