On Sunday, the New York Jets will return to the international stage for the first time since 2021, taking on the Minnesota Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
While this will be the first overseas game for many Jets players, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is familiar with the London atmosphere after playing there two seasons ago.

“Don’t be gobsmacked by what you see in the crowd,” Rodgers said. “There’s going to be a lot of different jerseys. I’m not sure what the split will be. … It’s a fun environment, a good field, and great fans,” Rodgers said of the trip overseas.
The Jets (2-2) are set to face the undefeated Vikings (4-0) coming off an ugly 10-9 home loss to the Denver Broncos as 7.5-point favorites. Rodgers discussed his thoughts on the Jets’ shaky start to the season.
“We’ve been up and down,” the signal-caller said. “We came off a good Thursday night game where we were efficient in all areas and then just didn’t play well at home. So we’re still trying to find a way to get the ball in space to our guys, get our best 11 on the field. And it starts with me. I’ve got to be efficient and deal the ball when necessary, hold onto the ball when necessary, and make sure we’re good on first and second down this week.”
As the Jets kicked off their 2024 campaign, all eyes were on the anticipated connection between Rodgers and Garrett Wilson. However, the duo has yet to deliver the production fans expected through the season’s first four games.
“It’s just the details,” Rodgers said on the connection. “We’ve got to be on the same page, so conversations that we have are important, me seeing the game through his eyes, him seeing the game through my eyes, and just going out there and executing. I don’t think it’s big changes. Things are close, and one of these weeks, we’ll put it together.”
As the Jets prepare for their international showdown, Rodgers and Wilson must ignite their connection to deliver a much-needed victory against the undefeated Vikings to improve to 3-2 on the season.
