According to Aaron Rodgers, one of the foremost leaders for the New York Jets comes from the offensive line.
Appearing on the “Pat McAfee Show” on Friday, Rodgers spoke about Morgan Moses‘s impact on the Jets this season.
“Morgan Moses has been a great leader for us,” Rodgers said. “He’s not only an absolute warrior with what he has played with, but he’s one of those real dudes that you have in the locker room. You can always count on him to say the right thing at the right time. He does not overdo it and has impeccable timing with the right words.”
Rodgers added that Moses “said some stuff” during halftime of the game against the Texans, which benefitted the team.
"I wouldn't say that was a no look pass and that was a DAMN good catch by Garrett Wilson..

Additionally, Rodgers spoke about the Jets’ upcoming slate and how the team is approaching the rest of the season.
“We’ve got to put everything into perspective, and we’ve got to get healthy. We’ve got two real important games before the bye week, starting with Arizona.”

Moses has evidently been one of the more important players for the Jets this season. The offensive line faced massive struggles while he was absent but has started to look better in spurts with him back in the fold. This was noticeable when he helped quiet the Steelers’ T.J. Watt for most of the Jets’ game against the Steelers.
Moses’s more significant contribution, though, is his leadership. He has seemingly helped the Jets stay on track amid their struggles this season and helped get New York on track against Houston. Moses has also helped mentor rookie lineman Olu Fashanu, whether he has played guard or tackle.
New York must treat each of its remaining games as if its season and playoff chances are on the line. With a player like Moses in the fold, that message is highly likely to be conveyed for the Jets.
