One of the New York Jets’ veteran leaders is setting an example with his warrior mentality.
In his Monday media availability, Morgan Moses revealed that he is playing through multiple injuries in order to stay on the field for the offense.

“I’m dealing with the same thing I got in the first Patriots game. Grade 2 MCL tear, a little meniscus damage, and a small fracture. When you go through a battle of OTAs and training camp with your guys, you build this camaraderie that never goes away. You never want to let those guys down,” said Moses.
“Everybody in this locker room is playing through something, whether it’s personal, physical, or emotional. That’s what football teams are great for, because we band together. If I can’t give 100 percent, then I know the guy beside me is going to give the extra 15 percent. As a veteran guy, you always want to grace the field. You never know when it will be your last time, and I take that personally.”
To add to Moses’s words, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo shared some information revolving around how the offensive lineman prepares for games.
Moses is the epitome of what Jets players should strive to be. Not only is he a leader, but he is also willing to fight for his teammates on the field every week, no matter what he is dealing with.
It is very admirable to see how the veteran carries himself, and if the Jets turn around their 2024 season, he will be a major reason why.
