With the 2025 NFL draft on the horizon, the New York Jets have shifted their focus to pre-draft interviews and meetings with prospects.
According to Sportskeeda’s Tony Pauline, the Jets hosted Washington State wide receiver Kyle Williams for a top-30 visit on Monday.
A three-star recruit hailing from Saint Monica High School in Santa Monica, California, Williams initially committed to UNLV and ultimately spent his first three collegiate seasons as a Rebel.
Williams appeared in 25 games for the Rebels across a three-year span, posting 1,568 yards and nine touchdowns while reeling in 117 receptions.
Following his third season, the receiver transferred to Washington State and spent his final two seasons of NCAA eligibility as a Cougar.
During the 2023 season, Williams played in 12 games for the Cougars, catching 61 passes for 843 yards and six touchdowns.
In 2024, Williams really made his presence felt, logging 70 receptions for 1,198 yards and 14 touchdowns.
The Washington State product is one of the fastest risers in this year’s draft class. Ranked No. 573 overall on the Mock Draft Database as recently as January 25, he now sits at No. 100.
Williams is known for his speed, vertical separation, and ability to make defenders miss with the ball in his hands. He flashed that explosiveness throughout the 2024 season, averaging 17.1 yards per reception.
Standing at 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, the Maryland native would bring much-needed depth to the Jets’ wide receiver room, along with the kind of dynamic playmaking most of Gang Green’s current options lack.
