There has been a lot of change throughout Breece Hall’s career with the New York Jets.

Since being drafted by the organization in 2022, he’s played under three different head coaches and four different offensive coordinators.

With that much turnover, it’s difficult to find sustained success. Despite that, though, he’s established himself as one of the top dual-threat running backs in the league, while eclipsing 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in 2025.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Hall expressed that he’s noticed much more organizational stability with the Jets’ current group of coaches and players compared to years past.

“In the past we had a lot of craziness and turmoil,” Hall said. “With the guys we brought in, the coaches we have, the changes of the staff, I feel like there’s a lot more organizational stability.”

Hall is fresh off a career year, which helped earn him a lucrative three-year extension this offseason. Not only did the Iowa State product finish with over 1,000 rushing yards, but he was also one of the most explosive running backs in the league.

Among 49 qualifiers in Pro Football Focus’ “breakaway percentage” metric, which shows the percentage of a rusher’s yards that came on plays of 15+ yards, Hall finished with the fifth-highest rate (36.8%).

He still hasn’t tapped into his full ceiling yet. He should be used much more as a pass-catching back this season under first-year offensive coordinator Frank Reich, who has commonly moved running backs into the slot at times to create mismatches.

A little stability is all that Hall needs for his game to reach another level in 2026.
